Puerto Morelos is one of the established offshore fishing areas along the northern Riviera Maya and is conveniently located between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Its location makes it a practical departure point for visitors staying in Puerto Morelos and many of the resorts along this portion of the coast.Playa del Carmen provides another central option for deep sea fishing in the Riviera Maya. Its location makes offshore fishing accessible to visitors staying in Playa del Carmen as well as many nearby Riviera Maya resorts.
Farther south, Puerto Aventuras offers convenient Caribbean access for anglers staying around Puerto Aventuras, Akumal and the southern Riviera Maya. Its marina makes it a natural departure area for offshore fishing trips in this part of the region.
